For a rich and thriving culture
Racines plurielles, a Culture pour tous initiative, is made possible with funding from the Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration and proudly supported by the Association des bibliothèques publiques du Québec. Its objective is to bring together established Quebec residents and recent newcomers to Quebec by implementing cultural mediation activities. The project is part of efforts to promote the sharing and discovery of Quebec culture as well as mutual participation in its enhancement.
Racines plurielles is being developed jointly with teams from various public libraries, which are cherished and valuable gathering places for their communities. This initiative supports the existing mission of these institutions to provide information, raise awareness, promote learning and highlight their rich cultural assets. As part of its support, Culture pour tous will provide participating players with training and necessary tools to implement activities related to the project.
