Our commitment to sustainable development
Through its initiatives, Culture pour tous works with stakeholders in various areas of activity across Quebec. In its mission statement, the organization states that people cannot achieve fulfilment without culture. We could also say that fulfilment cannot be achieved without giving genuine consideration to the environmental, social and economic issues that we face more than ever. For that reason, we feel it is imperative that we commit ourselves to sustainable development in our activities in order to exert a positive influence, make a difference and possibly give our collaborators inspiration to do likewise. Moreover, it is essential that we educate ourselves, always be informed of what is going on and maintain an up-to-date vision and overall understanding of our environmental responsibilities.
By adopting a sustainable development policy, we are committing ourselves to significantly reducing our environmental footprint, particularly with respect to greenhouse gas emissions and waste production, while optimizing the positive social, economic and cultural impacts.

Priorities
- Promote understanding and adoption of sustainable development principles and encourage team commitments to those same principles;
- Incorporate sustainable development principles in all Culture pour tous activities;
- Adopt well-thought-out and structured practices to reduce the environmental footprint of the organization’s activities;
- Promote the importance of environmental responsibility in our activities and in all of our partnerships.
